Teen Curfews

I remember toolin’ around town in my car until the early hours of the morning when I was in high school.  teen curfewsThere was something very liberating about it.

I don’t know, just the thought of being out late when most of the world was home and in bed.  I didn’t have a curfew back then.

But just a month ago, I received a call from a Sheriff’s deputy reporting that he was with my son and he was violating the curfew for the City of Wilsonville.  I didn’t even know that there was one.  He asked if he could bring him home, which he did.

While my son escaped being hauled down to the county jail, many of his friends were not so lucky… neither were their parents.  They had to go down and get them at 3 o’clock in the morning.

My question to you is: “Is it worth it?
