Which One of Our Coaching Programs is Right For You?
I know that every situation is different... and every situation can be tackled in a different way. Whether you or your child would like one-on-one coaching with me... would like me to lead a coaching session for a group... or would like to immerse yourself and your family in a powerful experiece at a Family Retreat... it's your choice.
One-on-One Coaching
Life coaching for parents and teens are available at either the Retreat Center in Oregon or by appointment with Mark at the Del Mar, California location. Coaching sessions may also be conducted over the telephone.
During the first 30 minute session, Mark gets to know you, you get to know him and determine if this is a good fit. If it is not, there is no charge. If it appears to be a good fit, a specific objective is established. This session can be done in person or over the phone.
Then, with mutual agreement of both parties, the client will be asked to commit to four (4) additional sessions with Mark. The sessions are for 50 minutes long and require a commitment to complete tasks between sessions as agreed upon by both the client and Mark. Upon completion of the five sessions, both parties shall determine if an additional series of five sessions is appropriate.

Fee $500/350 in advance.
The cost for the minimum of five (5) coaching sessions is $500. However, if you would rather pay for the sessions in advance, you can take a 30% discount and pay only $350 in full, a savings of $150. Through The Satori Institute, your tax-deductible gifts are always welcome and help further our mission to offer scholarships to those in financial need and to offer programs to underserved communities. These contributions are at the discretion of the client and are considered optional. The client will receive a receipt for tax purposes.

Group Coaching
Group coaching usually meets once a month for six or more months in groups of six to eight people. Group coaching is strongly encouraged for those making a transition of some kind and would like to receive ongoing support from the group members. We are currently offering “The Parent and the Teen: Preparing Yourself for Independence”, “I Know What I Want to Do, I Just Don’t Know How to Get There”, “From Bread Winner to Bread Maker: Baby steps for the newly divorced father.”, and “If You Don’t Answer The Phone, They will Stop Calling”. Group coaching is available at either the Retreat Center in Oregon or by appointment with Mark at the Del Mar, California location. The cost for the minimum six-month coaching sessions is $350. However, if the client elects to pay for the sessions in advance, the can take a 30% discount and pay only $245 in full, a savings of $105.

"I Know What I Want to Do, I Just Don't Know How to Get There"
Sometimes we don’t know what we do know and we don’t know how to make it happen. This is a very interactive, exercise-based workshop or presentation that brings greater clarity for both teens and adults and provides specific baby steps on making it happen.
First Mondays of the month from 8pm to 10pm, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2, July 7, August 4.

"From Bread Winner to Bread Maker: Baby Steps For the Newly Divorced Father"
It is time to change roles for many newly divorced fathers. Having spent nearly a lifetime of earning the income and playing the man’s role, it is now time to connect with your kids, be the bread winner and the bread maker, and determine if and what you want in a new life partner. From a divorced father’s perspective, this topic will expose the broken heart, the unspoken fears, and embrace the joy of being a Great Dad both pre and post divorce.

"From Bread Maker to Bread Winner: Baby Steps For the Newly Divorced Mother"
It can be a very stressful time during those months of trying to figure out what you are going to do, how you are going to survive after the divorce. As a soon to be divorced mother, having spent nearly a lifetime of nurturing your kids, you may be faced with the challenges of returning to the working world or just simply figuring out what you want to do with your life. As a Group Experience, get the support of other divorce women experiencing many of the same challenges both prior to the divorce and adjusting on your own after the divorce is final. This topic, when presented along with the other topics offered, makes for a powerful speech at a luncheon for women.

"The Parent and the Teen: Preparing Yourself for Independence"
This life-changing workshop introduces simple but powerful principles that prepares both the parent and the teen in ways that help them to make better decisions and build mutual respect for each other. You will learn about the importance of clear and effective communication, setting boundaries, negotiating agreements, understanding the importance of responsibility and consequences, and how to put yourself in the other person’s shoes.

Family Retreats
We love our Retreats and we know you will, too!
These are five to seven day weeklong workshops filled with tons of recreational opportunities and a little family education, too.
Our locations are Hawaii, Southern California, and exotic places beyond.
The cost of these family retreats run from $250 to $500 per adult and $150 to $350 per child under 12 years of age. Travel and accommodations are additional. Should the family pay during early registration, they will be entitled to a 10% discount.
