Group Coaching

Group coaching is made available either by webinars or on location in Portland, Oregon or Del Mar, California when the schedule permits.  The groups usually meet once a month for six or more months in groups of six to eight people.  Group coaching is strongly encouraged for those making a transition of some kind and would like to receive ongoing support from the group members. The Fee for Group Coaching is $350 or $245 if paid in full thirty days in advance.We are currently offering:

TEENS and YOUNG ADULTS:

"I Know What I Want to Do, I Just Don't Know How to Get There"

This is an excellent group coaching session for those graduates just completing the workshop, The Parent & The Teen: Preparing Yourself for Independence.  Sometimes we don’t know what we do know and we don’t know how to make it happen. This is a very interactive, exercise-based coaching session that brings greater clarity for both teens and adults and provides specific baby steps on making it happen.

MEN ONLY:

"From Bread Winner to Bread Maker: Baby Steps For the Newly Divorced Father"

It is time to change roles for many newly divorced fathers. Having spent nearly a lifetime of earning the income and playing the man’s role, it is now time to connect with your kids, be the bread winner and the bread maker, and determine if and what you want in a new life partner. From a divorced father’s perspective, this topic will expose the broken heart, the unspoken fears, and embrace the joy of being a Great Dad both pre and post divorce.

"From Bread Maker to Bread Winner: Baby Steps For the Newly Divorced Mother"

It can be a very stressful time during those months of trying to figure out what you are going to do, how you are going to survive after the divorce. As a soon to be divorced mother, having spent nearly a lifetime of nurturing your kids, you may be faced with the challenges of returning to the working world or just simply figuring out what you want to do with your life. As a Group Experience, get the support of other divorce women experiencing many of the same challenges both prior to the divorce and adjusting on your own after the divorce is final.

"The Parent and the Teen: Preparing Yourself for Independence"

This group sessions picks up where the life-changing workshop left off.  It continues to strengthen the simple but powerful principles that prepares both the parent and the teen in ways that help them to make better decisions and build mutual respect for each other. You will learn to lock in the skills necessary to engage in clear and effective communication, setting boundaries, negotiating agreements, understanding the importance of responsibility and consequences, and how to put yourself in the other person’s shoes.
